Privacy Policy

Pepful LLC operates pepful.app. This policy explains how we handle information when you visit this website, join our launch list or contact us.
Information we collect
- Launch-list information. Your email address and, if you choose to provide it, your role as a contestant, parent or supporter, coach, or director. We also record the first and most recent signup time and the number of signup submissions for that address.
- Optional follow-up answers. After you join, you may answer two optional questions: what would help most right now, and roughly when the next competition is. You choose from set answers; there is no free text.
- Campaign tags. If you arrive through a link with a campaign tag, such as one shared by a director or in a post, we record that tag with your signup so we know which channels are useful.
- Website request information. Our hosting provider processes technical information needed to deliver and protect the website, such as IP address, browser information and request details. A launch-list submission also records the country supplied by our hosting provider and the referring page supplied by your browser, when available.
- Messages you send us. Your email address, message and any information you choose to include when asking for help or making a privacy request.
How we use information
We use this information to maintain the launch list, send Pepful launch announcements, understand the roles and priorities of interested visitors and which channels reach them, respond to requests and operate and protect the website. Signing up does not enroll you in a tips newsletter or create an app account.
Service providers and disclosures
Cloudflare hosts this website and stores launch-list records. Providers that support our email and website operations may process information to perform those services. We may also disclose information when required by law or when reasonably necessary to address fraud, abuse or a security incident.
We do not sell launch-list information or use it for targeted advertising. We do not give the launch list to pageant organizations, coaches or sponsors for their own marketing.
Cookies and website storage
The public launch-list form does not require an account or a sign-in cookie. Where sign-in is required, session cookies maintain authorized access. Hosting services may process technical data to deliver the site and protect it from abuse.
Your choices
You can leave the launch list, correct your information or request deletion by emailing hello@pepful.app from the address you used to sign up. You may also reply to a launch announcement to ask to unsubscribe. We may ask for information needed to verify a request before changing or disclosing a record.
Retention and security
We retain launch-list information for launch communications and managing your preferences. If you ask us to stop, we stop sending launch announcements to that address. We may retain a limited record of the opt-out to avoid adding you to future mailings, and information needed to meet legal obligations or address abuse. You may request deletion of your signup record.
We use HTTPS for website connections. No online service can guarantee absolute security. Please do not send sensitive personal information in a launch-list or general support message.
If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland
If the EU or UK General Data Protection Regulation applies to your information, Pepful LLC is the controller of the information described in this policy.
Legal bases. We rely on your consent to add you to the launch list and send launch announcements; you can withdraw it at any time, which does not affect anything we did before you withdrew. We rely on our legitimate interests to understand which channels reach interested visitors and to operate, secure and protect the website. We process messages you send us to respond to your request, and we may process information where necessary to meet a legal obligation.
Your rights. You may ask to access, correct, delete or receive a copy of your information, to restrict or object to how we use it, and to withdraw consent. Email hello@pepful.app from the address you used to sign up. You also have the right to complain to the data protection authority where you live or work.
International transfers. Pepful is based in the United States, and our service providers may process information in the United States and other countries. Where the law requires it, we rely on appropriate safeguards for these transfers, such as standard contractual clauses or an applicable adequacy decision.
Age of consent. Some countries set the age at which a person can consent to online services above 13, up to 16. If you are below that age where you live, please ask a parent or guardian before joining the launch list, or have them contact us on your behalf.
Age
Pepful is intended for people age 13 and older. The launch list is not intended for children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided personal information, contact us so we can address it.
When the app launches
Pepful will use an account to save and sync preparation data. App data will not be limited to storage on one device. Before you create an app account, we will provide the privacy details that apply to account information, preparation records, optional media, service providers, retention and deletion. Joining this launch list does not create that account or upload preparation records.
Updates to this policy
We will post updates here and change the effective date. If we materially change how launch-list information is used, we will provide an appropriate notice before that change takes effect.
